Injection without holding a Skin Fold

It is recommended to perform all injections without holding a skin fold at an angle of 45° (12,7/8mm needle length).

Only when setting the injection in the backside a 90° angle is acceptable.

By using shorter needles intramuscular injections can be prevented. Shorter needles are not recommended for every patient.
